  10. Click Continue & select a way to verify your business. The default method is to receive a postcard by email. This method will take 14 days & you will receive a PIN. Rather than this method, you can select and receive a PIN by text message or a Phone call. 
  11. When you claim your Business profile, you can customise your business with the following information, business hours, business description, images & a chatting option.
  1. When verified, your Google Business Profile will be on Google Maps. 

How to add a business to Google Maps : Option 2

This is the second option for you to add your business on Google Maps. 

Add or claim your business in Google Maps

Using Google Maps directly, you can add your business & get listed on Google. 

There are three options for that. Use the following steps.

  1. Go to Google maps & enter your business address in the search bar. Then you can see on the left side an option called Business profile. Click it & you can see Add your business option. Click that option as well. 
  2. Then, right-click on the map & select Add your business option.
  3. Click the list on the top left corner & select Add your business option. 
  4. You will get instructions to set up your Google Business Profile. Follow those instructions precisely. 

If you are already listed on Google, you can claim by following the steps. 

  1. Go to Google maps & type your business’s name on the search bar. 
  2. Select your business within the search results. 
  3. Select claim this business option & click Manage now option. 
  4. Select a verification method & follow the steps they will show you. Then you will complete your Google Business Profile.
