DigiFix Hits 100,000 YouTube Subscribers!

A Milestone Built on Consistency, Creativity, and Relentless Drive

The Journey to 100k

Conversation with Our Visionary Leader: Nel Cooray

Question: “How do you feel about hitting 100K subscribers, especially after starting from zero?”

Nel Cooray: It feels incredible, almost unreal, to be honest. When you start from zero, you never truly believe you’ll hit milestones like 100K until it finally happens. The early days were tough with long hours and very little traction. But we stayed consistent, kept pushing, and seeing it all come together now is extremely rewarding. It’s a huge milestone for us.

Question: “What was the key inspiration behind starting a YouTube channel for the business?”

Nel Cooray: There were a couple of key reasons. First, as a marketing agency, we wanted to lead by example. If we’re advising clients on how to grow on YouTube, we should be able to demonstrate the same results ourselves.

Second, I saw that many people underestimated the power of consistency and didn’t trust the process, even when the algorithm was working in their favour. I wanted to show what’s possible when you commit, stay disciplined, and follow a clear system.

Question: “What were the biggest challenges in trying to grow the channel?”

One of the biggest challenges was producing original content at scale. We had to be inventive, constantly repurposing ideas or creating everything from scratch with very limited resources. Unlike large agencies, we didn’t have big production teams, so we leaned heavily on AI.

However, that came with its own challenges. AI was still new, unstable, and lacked proper documentation. Hence, generating consistent, high-quality content was difficult.

We also didn’t use a human face on the channel, which meant every script had to work much harder. We had to be more creative, more strategic, and more intentional with our storytelling.

Question: “What specific strategy was most crucial to our rapid growth?”

Our biggest advantage wasn’t just the content; it was the system behind it. We treated the channel like a product, not a side project.

The most crucial strategy was volume-driven consistency paired with rapid experimentation. Instead of posting occasionally, we posted relentlessly, analysed every data point, and doubled down on what worked.

We didn’t wait for perfect videos. We focused on iteration speed, testing hooks, titles, pacing, and structure until we found what the algorithm favoured.

This combination of consistency, data-driven decisions, and fast adaptation gave us exponential traction. It wasn’t luck; it was a system.

Question: “Do modern businesses need a dedicated YouTube channel?”

It’s a tricky question in today’s landscape, but the reality is this: every modern business needs a strong content medium, and for most, social media is the easiest path.

If a business has the capability to run a YouTube channel, the upside is enormous: reach, authority, trust, and long-term discoverability. The hard part is consistency. Most businesses quit before the momentum kicks in.

So yes, I absolutely believe a dedicated channel, whether it’s YouTube or another platform, is essential today. It’s one of the most powerful ways to build visibility and credibility at scale.

Question: “How important was trusting and motivating the creative team?”

Trusting and motivating the creative team was absolutely critical. I always say there’s no need to reinvent the wheel; most ideas in marketing have already been tested. What matters is finding the flavour that fits your brand and executing it with discipline.

The team believed in the system, even when growth was slow and the results weren’t obvious. There were moments where we questioned whether the effort was worth it. But staying committed and backing each other made all the difference.

That persistence is exactly why we hit 100K.

Question: “Now that we’ve hit 100K, what’s the next goal?”

The next goal is to scale with even more intention.

When you study the biggest creators, MrBeast, Ryan Trahan, and IShowSpeed,  none of them became successful overnight. Their momentum came from relentless consistency, learning from failures, and staying committed long before the financial rewards arrived.

For us, hitting 100K is humbling. It’s the size of a full stadium, a massive audience choosing to watch our content.

Our aim now is simple:

to grow DigiFix into one of the most-watched and most valuable channels in the world.

We’re not slowing down. We’re pushing harder with more discipline, creativity, and innovation.

Question: “Your advice for new and established creators?”

  • Review your work constantly. Learn fast. Refine faster.
  • Move quickly when opportunities appear.
  • Stay consistent; daily actions create long-term success.
  • Avoid shortcuts; they never lead to real growth.
  • If you fall, fall forward. If you get knocked down, stand up again.

The real test of success is how many times you’re willing to rise after setbacks.

Conversation with Our Leading Video Creator

Question: “How do you feel about reaching 100K subscribers?”

Reaching 100K subscribers feels incredible. It’s not just a number; it represents every idea, every edit, and every bit of teamwork. I constantly get motivated by my team and by Nel. We’re always brainstorming, studying trends, and figuring out how to make our content better.

This achievement gives me the energy to push boundaries creatively and deliver fresh, meaningful content that connects with our audience.

Question: “Do you get inspiration from other creators?”

Definitely. Inspiration can come from anywhere: creators, websites, AI tools, trending stories.

But we never copy trends. Instead, I study what’s working and reshape those ideas to match our brand’s tone and message. It’s about creating something original that still feels familiar to our audience.

Question: “Your advice for new and established creators?”

Start by understanding your audience and your brand. Once you know who you’re speaking to, your content becomes more focused and powerful.

For new creators, consistency is everything. Don’t wait for perfection; produce, learn, and adapt.

For established creators, keep evolving. Study trends, test new formats, and stay connected to your audience. Growth isn’t about chasing views; it’s about building trust and delivering value.
